FUCK YEAH!!! 10-0 without Thome in the lineup. Jon SHUTOUT Garland with a great game today. Complete game, shutout only 6 hits. Very happy to leave Detroit with a split.

As a White Sox/NIU fan, I'm pleasantly surprised you have a WS thread on this board. Still have the wildcard lead and only 5.5 back of Detroit. Garland is definitely proving his value this year he has really matured into a stopper.

Garland and Crede were easily my 2 favorite players to begin the year, and aside from Dye I would say they are having the best years also.

Check the game highlights (or lowlights for Detroit) to see Sean Casey getting thrown out at first base, by the LEFT fielder! The ball went off Crede's glove, and Casey stopped for a second thinking it was caught.

You know you think you've seen it all, but I've never seen a 5-7-3 putout on a batter in the major leagues before.
