Which Notre Dame win was best for you?

Had to go with the 1995 game. I was there on a first date with my eventual wife. I'm suprised it turned out this way, given my intoxication & inability to pay attention to anything but the game. I guess her understanding is one reason we are married!!

Watching Eddie rool over Lou & the boys after hearing about Ron's 3 upcoming Heismans and how tough Lou was for roaming the sidelines days after having neck surgury was poetic considering where the Heisman ended up. Also, being the middle of the Cooper years, I guess the win was a bit more unexpected given his tendancies in big games - I guess it was at the beginning of the year, when Coop's teams were at their best.

The Fiesta was a close second, for the most part because all I heard about leading into the game was the second coming of the f-ing Tuna. Tressel was given zero accolades going into the game & certainly showed Chuck & the Domers what is required to be a big game coach.

That's very true. But you have to admit it's easy to get the two confused.
