Let's go over what we know here.....

Michigan State can run the ball all day long. That's a loss....

Purdon't can throw the ball all day long. NoD hasn't stopped a competent passing game in 3 years. Loss even though Purdon't can't play defense either.

fUCLA is an enigma. This team can beat USC but then nearly lose by 40 to an 0-2 Utah. Probable loss because it's in LA, but there's always a chance....

BC is going to destroy them. BC manhandled Georgia Tech who beat NoD by 30. Case closed.

USC :slappy:

Navy - the one game I think they have an even shot at winning. If Navy somehow figures out a way to keep the chains moving (and figures out a way to get a healthy player or 3 on defense), they can win their first game against NoD since 1963.

Air Force beat TCU and TCU would beat NoD by 40. Probably a loss but this is probably/definitely their 2nd best chance at a win.

Duke finally snapped their 22 game losing streak. We'll know more about them by this point in the season, but obviously this game has the same odds as the Air Force game for a possible win.

Stanford - NoD will provide Stanford with a valuable stepping stone into the recruiting season.

I'll go with Navy or Duke at this time.

That's just the half of it. Michigan State is tied at #1 in the nation for sacks, while Notre Dame leads the nation in sacks allowed. Oh, and two of the other Top 4 in sacks are Penn State and Georgia Tech, which amassed their stats against Notre Dame to begin with.

I'm calling it right now: Jonal Saint-Dic will be the Big Ten Defensive Player of the Week again this week.

MSU/ND might be the ugliest ND game yet.

I think they are going to get clipped by Navy this year, that's a team that would love to get over on ND and with the way that d-line is they can just run the ball up and down the field. I don't think they even need to concern themselves with any defense, it's not like ND has shown they can be a threat to anyone yet, and I figure by that time they should be so demoralized that they roll over for everyone.

PS. heh, you have my avatar from a Chargers board I am on, glad I didn't use that one here :P

I honestly can not see ND winning any of these games until Duke. But somewhere ND will probably get lucky (watch it be in the next two weeks) Navy will run up and down on them but the D needs to step it up. Air Force is good again (finally) and I bet Air Force beats them/is favored by 10.

Duke for their ONLY win of the season

They won't beat Navy- Navy gave Rutgers a good game and with that offense GOOD LUCK.

They won't beat Airforce- As stated they beat TCU

They won't beat Standford/UCLA- Both games are played over there

DUKE right now is their only hope


THey will lose some recruits because of this. I must say that NoD should feel like morons for keeping Charlie Weise in that contract. THey can't get rid of him now. They're stuck wiht this fat ass for all 10 years, and to be honest that sucks because I can't stand that fuck. What an arrogant man, and I have no clue how anyone can buy that he's a good guy.
