I chose Joey because I do not think that there is a more impactful player on defense in the entire country. I also selected Decker because the majority of our runs seem to go to the left side and he was pretty good in pass blocking this season.
I would have selected Lee but he did not play up to the standards that he had set for himself last season. I thought that I read where they changed his role this season so perhaps he played better than what I have given him credit for.
I also think Elliott deserves a lot of consideration because he is one of the best all-around backs to ever play at Ohio State but the national media does not seem to care about blocking and pass catching when it comes to a running back. In addition, I think we need said in the post game press conference will be held against him when it comes to selecting All-Americans.

Bosa is a guarantee. Elliot should be in but there are a lot of backs and the media is obsessed with Derrick Henry.

Lately they are obsessed with McCaffrey from Stanford too, which I don't get. 5.7 YPC doesn't quite do it for me after watching Hyde and Elliott these last few years

Yeah, I wish Elliott got consideration, but Henry and Fournette have already wrapped up first team spots and he'll have to fight with Cook and Freeman for the 2nd team ones.

Lee hasn't looked the same this year due to injuries. Perry and McMillan have been steady but I'm not sure their play screams All American. Of the LBs, McMillan has the best shot because his counting stats will compare favorably. I had some issues with McMillan yielding yards after contact through the first half of the season, but he was a much surer tackler over the back half and stopped plays at the point of contact more often than not over the last three or four games. He started playing like a 5-star prospect in November and that -- with his numbers -- might be enough.
Elliott will be blocked by Fornette, Henry, McCaffrey, and Cook.
Bell, Bosa, and Decker are safe bets.
Washington is a first team quality player, but I admit ignorance to other elite DTs around the country and think he could be unfairly penalized by being on the same unit as Bosa. Voters typically try to spread the wealth. Since I think Bosa is slam-dunk first team, Washington probably garners some second team and honorable mention nods.

Ohio State's Joey Bosa, Vonn Bell, Joshua Perry and Raekwon McMillan were named first team All-Big Ten performers for the 2015 football season, the conference announced Monday on Big Ten Network.
Bosa was a unanimous choice by both the coaches and media, while Perry earned the nod from the coaches and McMillan the media. Bell also earned first-team recognition from the media.
Bosa, the 2014 Big Ten Defensive Player and Defensive Lineman of the Year, is fourth in the league in tackles for loss with 16 and also has 5.0 sacks on the year despite spending the majority of his time fighting through double and sometimes even triple teams. The junior also has 14 quarterback hurries, impacting the game in various ways even if the stat sheet doesn't show it. His numbers aren't as good as they were last season, but there's a reason he's projected by many to be the No. 1 pick in the 2016 NFL Draft. He's also a finalist for the Lombardi Award, given to the nation's best linebacker or lineman and won conference Defensive Lineman of the Year honors for the second straight season Monday.
McMillan, a sophomore, is third in the conference with 114 tackles. He is a finalist for the Butkus Award, given to the nation's best linebacker, and the guy who directs his teammates as the man in the middle each play.
Perry, a senior captain and one of Urban Meyer's most trusted players, is second on the team in tackles with 98 and fourth in tackles for loss with 7.5. He also has 3.5 sacks and led the team in tackles last season.
Bell is fourth on the Buckeyes with 63 total tackles and is tied for seventh in the Big Ten with 11 passes defended. His interception return for a touchdown ignited the Buckeyes to a 28-14 victory against Minnesota Nov. 8 and he also returned a fumble for a score against Hawai'i. Bell is a semifinalist for the Thorpe Award, given to the nation's best defensive back.
The quartet of Buckeyes were joined by seven of their teammates on All-Big Ten teams. Adolphus Washington (coaches and media), Eli Apple (coaches), Cameron Johnston (coaches and media) were all named to the conference's second team.
Defensive end Tyquan Lewis, safety Tyvis Powell and cornerback Gareon Conley earned honorable mention. Jalin Marshall also received honorable mention from both the coaches and media as a punt returner.
The All-Big Ten offensive teams are set to be announced Tuesday at 6 p.m. on Big Ten Network.
