I'd say 3, behind Notre Dame and Bama. If the B1G wasn't ass they'd be 1 for me.

Pesonally, I put us at 4: excepting the corn game, we've never looked dominant and our defense has been horrible at times......all against in a really crappy conference with no games against elite competition in or out of conference.

And for those who have always maintained that they don't give a [Mark May] about the strength of the Big Ten, this season--were we eligible--would have been the year that an undefeated Ohio State team was left out of the NC game in favor of a 1-loss SEC/Texas-Okie/USC team.

There is no [censored]ing way that the voters would pass on a Return to Glory vs. SEC! Dynasty game to let Ohio State into the game, and the computers--due to our crappy sos--would have not compensated.

I'd have OSU 4 behind Notre Dame, Alabama, and Florida.

I think Georgia is overrated. Their schedule was pillow-soft this season and they're 1-1 against the two ranked teams they played. This is my primary complaint with the self-perpetuating SEC meat-grinder schedule BS.

Georgia played Ole Miss and Auburn out of the west while Florida played A&M and LSU. Florida's SOS trumps a one-possession margin in the head-to-head IMHO.

That wouldn't be a problem if this was one of the years we had a real OOC schedule.

As much as I hate to say it, ND deserves #1. Bucks deserve #2, although I'm not convinced they're the second (or first) best team in the country.

This. I don't give a shit about "weak B1G" or "S-E-C! S-E-C!" We're one of only two major undefeated teams in FBS. Notre Dame has earned their #1 ranking, but we've earned the #2 ranking.

2nd. Only one quality win and they've looked awful on multiple occasions, but they're undefeated and I think they would beat Nebraska again next week.

Alabama will be 1-1 against ranked teams if Michigan drops out this week. Their win coming against a team with a junior college offense that they needed Les Miles reverse-mad-hattery and a perfectly timed screen to pull off. They sure know how to beat the shit out of patsies though!

Florida has good wins against LSU, South Carolina, and Florida State. They also looked like shit against Bowling Green, UL-Lafayette, and Missouri and won't win their division.

Georgia beat Florida and also lost a game by four touchdowns.

Definitely second, we are a major conference and undefeated.

For those who think even if we were eligible for the NC this year we'd get left out... not a chance would we get left out if we were eligible and undefeated because that would have meant we then would have beaten a highly ranked NEB again in the Big 10 CCG. If we would have been left out after being 13-0 then I think Columbus and Ohio itself would cause a mass riot....

Oh well none of it matters, but here is to a fine season!
