When does "great offense" equal crappy defense?

Some folks like Arena football. Personally, a little defense adds to the game for me. Otherwise, it might as well be like the NBA...turn it on for the last 5 minutes to see who is going to win.

Rice just sucks.

I'm talking more about "great" teams who win games 50-40 and no one talks about the fact they allowed 40 points, but orgasms over the fact they scored 50.

For some reason Rice comes back for more in the second half. Houston promptly obliges the request for another shot to the pills and goes up 66-0 3 minutes into the 3rd quarter.

Mercy rule needs to be invoked here.

I know that no one gives a shit about this game but I thought it would be worth mentioning that Houston just covered a 72 point over by themselves.

You just don't see that every day.

Tonight, the Arizona defense who allowed 44 points (38 in regulation) to Oregon's "great offense" has already allowed 17 points to the Cornhuskers early in the second quarter.

Great offense or crappy defense? Looks like crappy defense to me, unless Nebraska turned into an offensive juggernaut since the Big XII season. :roll2:

33 points for Nebraska's 80th ranked offense and it's still in the 3rd quarter.
