What's your thermostat set at in winter?

When at home, what's your thermostat set at during winter?

Current apartment (heat included in rent) - set at 70 most of the time, a little lower before bed.

Last apartment (heat not included) - had to set it up to 80 to get the apartment to 65... ridiculous. The open floorplan with the balconied bedroom loft was pretty but outrageously inefficient.

I tell people to get a new digital thermostat from Home Despot or Lowes.
You can program that sucker to do all kinds of neat stuff and it will save you some money!
I have Hunter's model 44110, good and cheap! Honeywell is another good brand.

When I was younger, the house my family lived in had no heating ducts ran to the upstairs. It was always cold. I actually grew to prefer it that way. Ever since, I sleep much better the colder it is. I have two roomates now, and one of them always turns that shit up to 80. I wake up sweating. If it were up to me, I would have it set under 64.
