OK, I have taken two "real" IQ tests, one in HS and one after a few years of college (when I could definitely tell my mind functioned better) and those scores were 125 and 136.
On this bogus test (although some of the questions were valid to test one's IQ/reasoning ability) I scored 154.
I know I don't have a 154 IQ - as I'm sure most or all of you would agree:wink2:

So I voted based on my real IQ, not the inflated one from this test.

That's right! We already know that when the dumbest person from Ohio moves to Michigan, the IQ average in both states goes up!

It would also hold true that someone of high intelligence moving from Mi to Ohio would seriously hurt MI's average - although I can't say for sure how you're going to be affecting our average, BIM! :)

Actually, if the test was valid this would not be the case. IQ tests are supposed to be normalized so that the mean score always equals 100. In other words, if the population taking the test was exceptionally bright, then all scores would be adjusted so that the mean would remain 100.

Of course in reality this test is not valid. Most IQ tests have a standard deviation of 15. Therefore, if you score above a 145 you have to be in the top .13% of the population taking the test. If you have a score above 160, you would be in the top .003% of the population. The chance that everyone at a particular web site that is only united by their love for a college and its football team makes it essentially impossible for everyone to be scoring as high as they are....either that or a lot of mentally retarded people from other sites are also taking the test and skewing the results.

Your IQ score is 157. A person whose IQ score falls in the range of 144-160 is considered to be "gifted".



I am a pretty bright guy, and I am "gifted"...in a lot of areas.....but, this can't be accurate.
