What's your favorite loss by scUM (not to OSU)?

Pick a Rose Bowl. This year was particularly amusing with all of them claiming that they were "robbed" from a berth in the championship only to be pantsed on national television. It was glorious. Now I know how scUM fans felt when Cooper was here.

The 1996 Purdue loss 9-3 to Jim Colletto and one of the worst teams in the history of organized football probably does it for me for pure entertainment value. The whole game, you could tell the UM guys just assumed they were going to get the TD to go ahead/win 10-9, and then the clock just eventually ran out, and they're all looking at each other like WTF? :slappy:

They were 7-1 going into that game too, so they still had plenty of aspirations that went by the wayside.

I know this isn't very imaginative, but the loss a few days ago to USC was pretty sweet simply b/c I've had to endure about a month of listening to sports talk up here in which every crybaby scUM fan in the state was whining about how they got screwed out of a rematch. Funny, it seems very quiet up here nowadays. :biggrin:

I have got to agree with this one, it was like watching a bad car wreck, you want to look away because it is so terrible but you can't. The last play with the faulty lateraling and pitching was just pathetic. I wish someone would remake it with the keystone cops or Laurel and Hardy. It was great.

Well, obviously I'd pick Oregon in '03 but I'll go with Minnesota last year. They were just trying to run out the clock yet somehow the Minny RB broke a 60 yard run to set up a game winning field goal at the Shit House. Priceless.
