My wife donates a lot of her time to the church.... we both do United Cerebral Palsy.

Time and Money: Youth sports leagues. Get the rolly poly brats out of the house and play ball.

Let me elaborate further...

softball leagues. Girls who play sports are less likely to end up smoking, pregnant or on drugs in high school. They are twice as likely to attend college and earn their degrees. And are four times less likely to be trapped in a verbally or physically abusive relationship.

Sports builds confidence, independence, teamwork and provides excercise in a world of PC's and PS2's.

And for these same reasons, I assist my daughter's Girl Scout troop as well. Many of these girls' fathers are too busy bringing home the bacon to be the male role model these girls need. My involvement in the troop is just that. Being a listener and friend.

Donated Scholarship money to another school in the name of a deceased student

I'm funding and made a commitment to continue to fund indefinitely a holocaust program/library/ and class in a certain predominantly Jewish community's schools

Money: LIONS, tOSU, the church, my law school alma mater for their public interest program only. I'm not exactly a big giver at this point though.
