What would your wife have to give you for you to agree to see BrokeBack Mountain?

I saw it. The movie was slow and was very predictable. Heath Ledger did an amazing job. I thought overall the acting was good and the directing was good, but other than that, it was nothing special at all. It is only getting hype because it has to do with homosexuality. I don't think I'd want to see it again, as I would probably fall asleep because of the boredom.

I mean...big deal...it was about homosexuality instead of hetrosexuality. It covered a topic that isn't usually covered as the main plot of a movie. It is kind of sad that it is THAT big of an issue JUST because it's about homosexuality.

The movie doesn't really open your eyes to anything about homosexuality....I mean unless you are completely ignorant to EVERYTHING dealing with it.

I wouldn't recommend it to anybody.

Is there an echo in here Steve?

Nope, just can't imagine any other circumstance. Doesn't appeal to me in any way and can't imagine why anyone would go. It's not a homophobic reaction, I just don't care and wouldn't dream of wasting my time seeing it.

I also didn't see Titanic. It's a boat. It goes down.

I guess it is because we have two kids and a non stop lifestyle but my wife and I rarely go to the movies. If we do go to a movie it is usually a kids movie. The last one was Narnia.

Until she saw the Today Show this AM where they discussed the Golden Globes she had never even heard of the movie. When she found out what it was about she asked, why would anyone want to see that?

If the movie was about two sheperds out west would anyone really go see it?

Well besides Rugby who apparently is in the dinner, movie and sex regiment.:tongue2:

Just exactly how gay are the two characters? Steve-O and Chris Pontius gay, or like full-on, Siegfried and Roy gay? I mean, is there hunka-junka involved, or do they just really enjoy each other's company?
