What I love about Archie, besides the two Heismans, is his 31 straight games of 100+ yards during an era that we rarely threw the ball. The other teams knew we were going to run it 85% of the time and still couldn't stop him. He had the best balance of any RB I've seen, save Barry Sanders.

this. i loved Pete Johnson. sadly, my only memories of him are as a Bengal. never saw a man that large move that fast or agile. remeber an NFL Films video and Pat McAnally was talking about watching Pete dunking in a pick up basketball game and saying it was the most amazing thing he had ever seen.
if only Forrest Gregg had given him the rock four straight times in SB XVI
