I have misplaced my pants.
I guess I'm more pessimistic. I went through each of the 12 games and rated them based on the chances that they'd win. A 0.00 means that I think they have no chance to win, and a 1.00 means that I think they have no chance to lose. (With a brand new quarterback, I find it very hard to rate any game above 0.95.) Add all the scores, and that's my prediction for the number of wins for the season.
Akron - 0.95
Toledo - 0.95
Miami - 0.50
Colorado - 0.90
Michigan State - 0.75
Nebraska - 0.30
Illinois - 0.80
Wisconsin - 0.30
Indiana - 0.90
Purdue - 0.70
Penn State - 0.75
Michigan - 0.75
Overall Record - 8.55-3.45
Conference Record - 5.25-2.75

Mandel has OSU finishing at 7-5, 4-4 in conference. I guess that means he thinks OSU will drop the Miami game in addition to four of the following: vs. MSU, @Nebraska, @Illinois, vs. PSU and @UM.
