Now that it appears highly likely that tOSU will be eligible for the B1G CCGand a bowl game, it's time for this vBet on how this season will go.

ONLY 1 LINE WILL PAY OUT.

I guess I'm more pessimistic. I went through each of the 12 games and rated them based on the chances that they'd win. A 0.00 means that I think they have no chance to win, and a 1.00 means that I think they have no chance to lose. (With a brand new quarterback, I find it very hard to rate any game above 0.95.) Add all the scores, and that's my prediction for the number of wins for the season.

Akron - 0.95
Toledo - 0.95
Miami - 0.50
Colorado - 0.90
Michigan State - 0.75
Nebraska - 0.30
Illinois - 0.80
Wisconsin - 0.30
Indiana - 0.90
Purdue - 0.70
Penn State - 0.75
Michigan - 0.75

Overall Record - 8.55-3.45
Conference Record - 5.25-2.75

Of course, the last time I was this pessimistic about a new quarterback was also the last time Ohio State had a possibility of playing 14 games in the season. I predicted 8 wins that year, too. I would love to be wrong again.

Trap game loss to those schmucks from Champaign after a huge win in Lincoln.

Revenge at home against Bucky.

Ground and pound for the U, defense puts on the heat - 10 point win.
Same goes for Sparty.

We usher in a new era of Wolverine Killer as Braxton grows up in front of us all during The Game.

11-1. :oh:

Mandel has OSU finishing at 7-5, 4-4 in conference. I guess that means he thinks OSU will drop the Miami game in addition to four of the following: vs. MSU, @Nebraska, @Illinois, vs. PSU and @UM.

Just to clarify, Stewart wouldn't get paid off at 33-1 with that prediction unless tOSU doesn't go to a bowl game this season. He'd have to go with 7-6, 8-5, or both in order to have a winning bet if tOSU goes 7-5 and plays in a bowl game.

(Don't forget he expects a bowl ban.)
