What type of pen/pencil do you prefer? (merged)

With a pencil grip on the end. I've been using the same one the whole year. Just keep reloading it with more lead.

Which is kinda sad. I bought a 10 pack and have only took 2 out of the pack. I keep one in my bookbag as an extra. I also pop the little clip off on the end.

The standard Bic clicky pens are the best. You can never find them in stores but companies always give them away as promotional items. I have a whole drawer full of them.

The standard Bic mechanical pencil 0.5 mm is what I always used in math. Never use a pencil anymore.

can't stand mechanical pencils at all.. come to think of it.. I just can't stand pencils, period!

Pens are ok, no real preference one way or another.. I do like the ones that have black, blue, red and green for ink choices.. those things rock!

did you know rollerball's are water based ink, and require a cap... ballpoint pens are oil based ink, and don't required a cap (although they come with them... prob. because, most folks don't know any better)...

Did you know there is one type of ink that actually stains/sets into the paper instead of sitting on it? All other inks can be "wiped off" with chemicals... I'm a bit drunk right now, and not up to speed on pens, however I know it is a ballpoint delivery system, and I believe it is a 642 ballpoint (all important docs are signed with that pen, so that we don't need to worry about signatures changing... learned it in an identity theft presentation)...

there's your free lesson for the evening :tongue2: ... off to bug mrs. gbear... goodnight...

Edit: it is a uni-ball 207 (the ink is "special" and cannot be removed with chemicals... without destroying the paper...).
