*sigh*

I was in Baltimore during the draft in the middle of what was probably a bunch of Maryland fans.....and I screamed out NOOOOOOOOOOO when the pick was made. The rest of the draft I was trying to figure out who my new team will be. I think the Cards picking Beanie means they're the front runners.

Yeah, I hear ya. I've always been a Cardinals fan though. Just got lucky I guess. There's plenty of room. Hop on the bandwaggon!

This was - past rounds 1 and 2 a relatively shallow draft in terms of depth. So, even though the Bengals got talent in Round 1 and 2, even though they put a check against every "needs" box past that point and thus get their "A" grade - the value of this class really needs to be measured on two scales.

This year - and more importantly, against other, better years.

So, the question is "What team brought in the best draft class?" and this year it is the Bengals, but, frankly it could easily be a class that would pale against those brought in by other teams in other years.

Huh? The Bills have gotten consistently positive reviews for bringing in probably 4 immediate starters at need positions (Maybin, Wood, Levitre, Nelson), plus a couple more guys in the defensive back-7 who should help on special teams at least. The back half of the draft was a bit underwhelming for sure, but their class was far better than 4th-worst overall.

Ofcourse they filled needs, they have 4 picks in the top two rounds... but i think maybin is overrated, dont honestly know shit about wood, i do like byrd, and levitre is more ehhhh than wow for a second rounder.. and after that there is nothing but maybe nic harris that i think will pan out.. theres a very high probability that im wrong, just what i thought of them.

apparently the nobody the Raiders took in the 2nd round was flying up draft boards...and would have been picked by the bears 2 spots later.

whatever. they still fucking suck and will continue to suck until Al is dead.

The Bears GM was interviewed and apparently he wanted Robo in the second round.. he was asked about the safety and then commented on WRs in round two. Didn't sound to me like he wanted Mitchell in the second, although I heard that rumor too. I heard a couple other teams wanted him in the third round though.

Then I also heard that he wasn't even a priority UFA for some teams..

My only guess is that it was rated low because they didn't address LT in a draft that was pretty deep at the position. But still, they did better than a D, even if Maybin is a bit overrated.
