Alan Parsons was a sound engineer on Pink Floyd's Dark Side of the Moon. Listening to his song "Time", I think he borrowed from Us and Them

I saw him in Anchorage Alaska right before he died. The funny part is that I had never heard of him, got invited to the concert and went for the heck of it.

I saw him open for Robert Plant during his Now and Zen tour in Rochester NY (88-89?)
To say he stole the show is an understatement

It was a great show, a great album and Plant is a god but SRV was SRV…and you had to see it to believe it. I was 17-18years old or so and told people at the show I felt sorry for whoever Plant’s guitarist was. Just had SRV blow everyone away AND had to do some Jimmy Page parts during Plant’s set.
