Mike's "mother" is Mary Woronov, former Warhol Superstar and actress who starred in the black comedy classic Eating Raoul and played Calamity Jane in the original Death Race 2000 and Miss Togar in the Ramones movie Rock N Roll High School.
Mike's "father" is Jack Nance, a close friend of director David Lynch, who starred in Eraserhead and had a leading role in Twin Peaks (as Pete Martell) and smaller roles in several of Lynch's other projects.

Wow I know all of those movies and never made the connection, who's the dad? BTW this video captures perfectly the vibe of the whole Venice Beach punk scene from that time
