What song are you listening to right now

I bought that album when it came out on cassette and what I remember most was I bought it for a road trip to see a dying relative in a Las Vegas hospital. I was disappointed at first, at the time I was really heavy into the live album and Piece of Mind and this one felt a notch below my expectations. Or it could have been my mindset at the time

The synthesizers were quite divisive amongst the fanbase at the time. That '86-'88 era of Somewhere in Time and Seventh Son of a Seventh Son is either the best or worst of Maiden in their prime from a lot of peoples' view.

Now that you mention it I think the synths were what turned me off and it took me a while to accept them. I never forgave Metallica though after they candied out.
