I consider this the greatest cover/remake/reinvention of any song ever recorded. Just my imo. But I think this cover probably 'feels' and 'is' more like what Karen Carpenter 'meant' to say when she recorded this, but wasn't allowed because she was happy music...

Even I'm a little embarrassed by this one, but I played it thinking it was from the 70's. After wiki'ing it a was surprised to find out this song was written way back in the late 60's but everybody was too afraid to record back then it because it was too risque. Turns out a whole shitload of people did this song but this was the version that succeeded...
