What kind of car do you drive?

Still rocking the 2011 Infiniti G37X (about 75K miles). My wife is still driving a 2002 BMW 325i (about 80,000 miles). It's nice to have gone over twelve years without a car payment. At this point, we also only have liability insurance on them.
2011 w/75k, that’s adorable.

My ‘95 LS400 says see you in another 16 years and 75k. Thinking about getting “classic” plates. No payments is the only life.

These things are bullet proof. No doubt it could do another 75k.
I’m counting on at least that many. The problem is getting parts. Lexus makes nothing for it anymore, and no dealerships keep old original parts for these things around. Not the Toyota way. So far I’ve been making do with occasional aftermarket stuff and used Denso parts out of Dubai. Fingers crossed.

Looks like more EVs will be coming out with 400 mile range batteries soon. I'll still wait to buy a used one due to massive depreciation, but that number has my attention as it is what I get on one tank of my sedan.

Daughter still has her 2015 Subaru. Less than 40,000 miles (works from home, and no car in Chicago for four years). Anyway, she wants a new one, but hesitates to take on the payments. Kinda guessing she was hoping we'd kick in, but didn't whine/complain when did not. Runs like a top (Subaru didn't charge me last time took in, says no change since the last year), and only drives to stores for groceries. Took it to Indiana for cousin's holiday party, and not a hiccup.....if they're not costing you many dollars to keep running, keep the oil changed, and brake pads fresh.
