What kind of car do you drive?

LoKy

We just sold a 1996 Ford Explorer for $4800. It was loaded and had 98K miles. The only reason we sold it was gas mileage, 10-12 MPG with V8 & AWD. That and my wife had to have a new car! It was a good vehicle considering all we did was change the oil and buy gas for 8 years.

I still drive the 1997 F150. It is reliable and practical for me but not economical. I figure the no payment and short commute plan makes up for the 16 MPG plan. I abuse my truck, I hope it forgives me and keeps on running. It only has 96K on it.

thanks for the info. My commute right now is 10 minutes down the street so that's why I'm looking in this direction. I really want to keep a truck though because you never know when you need to haul something

blue 94 ranger xlt i4 5 spd
black 2001 camaro ss 6sp

the 5.7L v8 gets better gas mileage than the 2.3L i4. go figure.

haven't decided what i want to replace the ranger with yet. diesel intrigues me more and more everyday.

my car: Just purchased a 2004 Honda Accord EX 4 cyl. (22k miles, immaculate condition) completely loaded and tinted windows.

Wife's car: 2000 Ford Explorer XLT 6 cyl. leather loaded. Yea, the mileage sucks, but the car is paid off and I'd rather have crappy mileage than another car payment.
