Bah, the internet is better when the majority of it is left to the imagination, like a good book.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go install Homenet and search Archie for some sweet ASCII art.

Here ya go.

Yeah I thought of checking Safari, which I use on my phone a lot, and Interent Explorer, which I only use for a few legal things. Almost no legal software or sites are compatible with firefox, including the federal courts, which strangely work with Netscape though (per mandate: to work with IE and Netscape. . . a bit behind the times there. . .).

And Homenet?!!? AWESOME!

Firefox does take longer to open from the icon click. Someone even went as far as to create a "firefox Preloader" to fix that problem. The only thing is, that it runs in the background all the time, and I don't care for programs that do that for small purposes. If you manually configure firefox by using "About:config" in the addy bar, it blows IE out of the water speed wise then, but as stated the startup time seems to hang a little more then most browsers that i've used.

Microsoft has finally converted me from Firefox.

IE 8.0 with Windows Live FTW. Windows Live Messenger is better. Windows Live Mail is better. The way all of it integrates to the Web to allow someone like me that might use 10 different computers over the course of a year is better.

IE 8.0 though, specifically, is a HUGE upgrade to everything MS has tried before. Internet/shared Favorites alone kicks ass, and Office Live is a really cool idea.
