What is your least favorite intersection in Central Ohio?

I absolutely hate the intersection of 315 and 750 in Powell.

I was just bitching about that Saturday after leaving the zoo. Even with all of the increased traffic, I don't think that intersection has changed in 20+ years....still just a simple traffic light. What a pain in the ass.

But my least favorite is trying to get from 33 South to 104 West, crossing 3 lanes of highway traffic in a very, very short distance.

There is never a good time to use that intersection going in any direction, especially if you need to make a left turn. And the way it's boxed in by the river and the bluffs, I can't imagine how it can ever be expanded...

I think there is a plan to add left turn lanes to 750... but, generally, yeah, that's got to be a limited impact.

But, once that starts, yeah, really stay away from there.

So they can start using that left-turn arrow from the bridge side that apparently never comes on now? That side kind of drives me crazy because everyone acts like it's two lanes, and there's two sets of lights, but there's still only one lane on the bridge. I would hate to get in an accident heading west and try to figure out exactly who's at fault there...

As soon as its done, the double roundabout in Hilliard by the DQ is going to be murder. Only half the population can navigate a single roundabout with out fucking it up, put two back to back, with street lights just passed on of them heading towards the row of schools (Station 6th grade, Memorial Middle, Heritage Middle, and Darby High School). That place is going to be jacked up.
they put a roundabout in a couple miles in the other direction from my work (so i'll never have to even look at it). apparently it's not wide enough for anything bigger than a car

Yeah... there actually is some room to improve the situation, but, it would involve a lot more deck space on the bridge... as you pointed out, there's nowhere else to go.

id say generically the northern part of 270, from sawmill to 71. that entire stretch is only one moron from being totally jacked up for the entire rush hour traffic. 315 backs up to 161 or worse, 270 east crawls, 23 is messed up, 71 sometimes is backed up from polaris back to 270. though id say generally the most dangerous area is 71 at the sunbury exit, 36? essentially an exit built for little or no traffic, it backs up and is super dangerous with people trying to run all the way up to the exit and diving into the line.

the exit mentioned above is rough. but nothing like many western interstate exits that are literally on 20 feet long, a pure right angle turn off that have a cattle gate to navigate also...

^^^^this^^^^

Ive driven this route for at least 7 years since my mom moved out that way and it is by far the worst i have ever tried to navigate. Came on the scene right after a nasty 4 car crash about 2 years ago...all 4 vehicles were fucked up big time...luckily no one was killed

Not sure if a roundabout is technically an intersection, but they completely changed the traffic pattern around the courthouse in Newark. Four roundabouts. Been thru a few times, no sweat. Everyone seems to grasp the concept.

They also put a roundabout near OSU Newark. Went thru for the first time today. No shit, these fucking idiots were just treating it as a four way stop. Even waving each other thru. Morons.
