What is your least favorite intersection in Central Ohio?

Any intersection that has some idiot nearly a full car length in front of the damned stop bar.....

Or any intersection that has some idiot a full car length short of the stop bar, when there are signs that indicate the light is only activated by pulling up to the stop bar.

What's that one on-ramp near Zanesville Thump claims is only twenty feet long?

That one.

That's also the first thing I thought of when I saw the thread title. He actually gave it a whole 40 feet back in October of 2005 - nothing is forgotten on BP. :tongue2:

I'll give you an example, the on ramp to I-70 in Zanesville only has about a 40 ft. area to merge and with the big semis driving in the right hand lane, sometimes you have to stop.

There's been people killed at that spot who just went ahead and merged and got run over.

I know the one, and it is dangerous. Of course (nothing is forgotten on BP) Thump always drove a Corolla, and his 1.8 cubic liters of fury wouldn't stand a chance there.

The entrance ramp at Underwood St. and I-70.

They closed that ramp two years ago b/c it was so dangerous so now you have to enter I-70 a ramp down that has MUCH more room to merge.

Lane and High when I'm trying to get to east campus housing and the lane to get there on Lane Avenue is backed up to fucking Tommy's.

I just avoid driving at rush hour most of the time so I had to struggle to think of one. Most intersections on Maple Avenue in Zanesville are worthless. The dividers they put in the middle of the road made that place worse than rush hour in Columbus. I laugh when people from Zanesville say they don't go to Columbus much because of traffic. Worst excuse to not leave Zanesville I've ever heard.

As soon as its done, the double roundabout in Hilliard by the DQ is going to be murder. Only half the population can navigate a single roundabout with out fucking it up, put two back to back, with street lights just passed on of them heading towards the row of schools (Station 6th grade, Memorial Middle, Heritage Middle, and Darby High School). That place is going to be jacked up.

I understand the permanent traffic pattern there will be a figure-8.
