I went to St. V. We don't really have one rival, just all the other Catholic schools in the Akron area. Hoban has won the last few football games, but we never duck playing them. Amazingly they refuse to play us in basketball anymore. Their AD is a sissy!

For us (Mainland High School) it was Seabreeze High School, Home of Xavier Lee.

They have X, we have Vince Carter. We win.

For now, with my kids in Hilliard schools and future Wildcats of Hilliard Davidson, I guess their rival is Dublin Coffman.

The green rock/blue paint incident a few years ago was pretty funny. Even National Merit Scholars got busted in that one.

Willoughby South High versus Eastlake North High... bunch of white trash that live in Eastlake...

And yes, the South mascot is a Rebel and yes this is in Ohio (East side of Cleveland)

The first couple of years of the school, 1965-1967 or so, Brookhaven's identified rival was Linden McKinley. The rivalry had switched to Northland by 1970. TG05 has noted that Brookhaven is Beechcroft's rival.

Anybody know when Brookhaven's rivalry switched from Northland to Beechcroft?

We have a Rivalry of sorts with South Lake Carrol as we are the only team to have beat them in the past couple of years and have met twice in the statechampionship...each team winning once

Not many fights... but I did almost run over their assistant principal in their parking lot during rival week. We visited their school and my truck was used as a platform for a 3-man water balloon launcher :biggrin:

The hilarious thing was I didn't get dinged. The assistant principal tried to stop us by standing in front of my truck (dumb idiot) he got tapped and put his hands on my hood... lucky for me he recognized the passenger and he got in trouble (my buddy didn't name me) All in all about 16 guys got in school detention I got off scott free :biggrin:
