hitting a friggin curveball... or more specific, spotting that it is a curve ball before I've hit the dirt to watch it go over the plate

Major irony story... one of the few homeruns in my life was in a key game facing a very good friend of mine who was an outstanding HS pitcher... he told me from the mound "here comes my nastiest curveball"... I have no idea how I hit it... but you think I ever told him that... or anyone else.... naaaaaaa... only my boys know I couldn't hit a curveball... and now you folks
