Thanks guys. I was just wondering if anyone had some insight as in Ohio State backed out or they just got out hustled by others. Worried about the depth and its quality going forward.LJB left off the " " symbols that these sayings that 17/18 year olds hear from various sources/parents/mentors/coaches/hostess'/uncles... Well, seeing as it's the "dead period"...very quiet lately. Opinions seem to favor Florida by a big marjin now. Did we sleep on this guy and lose him, as well?
Who is dead? Do you have bonafides to back that up?Well, seeing as it's the "dead period"...

Just curious. As a general observation I have noticed your tendency to assign blame to the coaching staff if a player doesn't chose tOSU saying things like "did we sleep on this guy" and such. Not trying to single you out but I've noticed it in the threads of various recruits. Do you have any idea how much time the staff spends away from their families by physically chasing (flying all over the country) and symbolically chasing (calling, texting, emailing) 15-18 year old kids? I can tell you that it is a work load that not many men or their families could handle. So why then do you want to blame them if these pre-adults don't chose tOSU? Is it possible that it has nothing to do with the effort by the staff and is just a kid being a kid or, heaven forbid, they actually like another school better or simply feel the other school will be a better fit? Lastly, if this staff doesn't impress you with their recruiting prowess you will never, ever be satisfied. Be a Buckeye. But be thankful. We are in our golden years. You do realize that right?very quiet lately. Opinions seem to favor Florida by a big marjin now. Did we sleep on this guy and lose him, as well?
The circumstances have changed significantly at his suitors. Even if they didn't, sometimes recruitments just go sideways.very quiet lately. Opinions seem to favor Florida by a big marjin now. Did we sleep on this guy and lose him, as well?
I praise the coaches when they bring results and I am not happy when they go from clear leader on a recruit to "losing" that lead and trail, which means very likely they won't get that kid when that happens from observations over the years. Happy ...they are great...when success...not happy blame...when failure ...sounds like the average fan to me. I bet you never blamed them for anything right?Just curious. Btw median income per person in the US is $27000. Meyer makes $6,500,000. Fickle $600,000, Ash about $700,000. They are well compensated for their hard work. Most of us would be willing to work 80 hour weeks if we made that much at least for few years, and some of us spend weeks always from our families and make a portion of that salary. That salary is possible because we are fans. Without fans, they would have different jobs. So it is probably ok to hold them accountable for a couple of failures here and there, especially when we know they could have done better. Thank you for keeping an eye on my trends. I appreciate you take the time to read my notes.
Yeah. I figured I had you pegged as an entitled fan alright. Especially given your comments in the Jordan Fuller thread etc etc etc. You buy tickets, and swag and by golly that staff makes away with all your dough and you want results!I praise the coaches when they bring results and I am not happy when they go from clear leader on a recruit to "losing" that lead and trail, which means very likely they won't get that kid when that happens from observations over the years. You're just the worst. So pessimistic it's unreal. Not every recruit loves ohio state and just because Urban makes a crap load of money doesn't mean he should always be #1. You do realize he is recruiting against 10 other coaches who are in the ball park as far as pay, abilities, and resources right?
