HH did get to speak with Jason

This was a quote taken from the Bnuts site after HH got back from the AA game. Under the thread "back from ..." started by HH himself.

"I did talk to Gwaltney, and he told me he was just so excited that he feels he is going to commit this weekend. I asked him where, he said "It's gotta be the Buckeyes, man." I had always thought he was committed to the west coast, but he seemed pretty positive about OSU. I don't recall seeing his name on the rundown list, but I only saw the names around Wells. He does act ready to commit."

Now nothing is 100% but how much more "inside info." can be given?? This is coming from the kids mouth according to HH. So if it happens WoooooHoooo!!!! I think OSU will give Jason a GREAT oportunity to get some major playing time with the current roster. Oh MY!! ... it will be so scary with Wells, Gwaltney and Ginn roaming around in that backfield ...

Gosh, talk about a way to "redeem himself" :) :) :) (not that he needs to, I'm more speaking to the goons over at BN)

I couldn't be more excited about this quote. Maybe he had a chance to see what running behind Boone would be like, or how awesome the possibilities would be with this guy as well. Gosh, could you imagine having gwaltney as the lone back in the shotginn formation, or instead running out of a prostyle formation with Wells able to roll out to the slot?

I don't know why he would look at BC this late in the game. If he is looking to stay east, Columbus is right there. I don't know what his academics look like, but BC has tough standards. He should just attend tOSU. It's a perfect fit for him.

The Gwaltney quote was posted at 8:34 am...It wasn't after the game..The title of the thread is Back from taping.. I don't understand how anyone thinks Jason is coming here..wstripes said he is going to USC..when has that guy been wrong?

No one will know until they get his LOI.

But did wstripes talk to Gwaltney personally? I don't know, I'm asking.

I'd say this gives us a reason to hope as opposed to the rest of the time we were merely waiting on a guy who had a reason to choose us, tho it was a longshot.

Stripes has also amended to say USC is "confident" about JG...

Stripes has also mentioned numerous times that JG has committed three times thus far so he has a knack for changing his mind.

I'm not saying he won't go to USC, but I am saying it is not a done deal yet

Gwaltney sounds like he's really taking his college choice seriously, and wants to be sure he finds the right fit. Good for him!

Somehow I think it's pretty easy to seem a little indecisive when you're constantly pressured by people who want to know NOW. As a result of this pressure, we seem to be getting snapshots from points along the decision path rather than the end result. If that's the case, anything can still happen. Clues from HH and wstripes are great, but in this case I'm not sure it's fair to them to take that information as prophecy.
