Nah. That's what happens to a program that doesn't even bother with a coaching search and makes the emotional hire after a big bowl win. Makes you wonder a bit if RR wasn't right to be frustrated with the administration, because all indications now are that they bungled the hire, which is inexcusable.

Even though RR's WVU teams hit the occasional roadblock (did they lose to Pitt last year? I don't think I've heard you guys mention that, ever) and even though the Big East is kind of a crap conference, I think Stewart is likely to demonstrate to us that dominating it the way RR did isn't something that was just handed to him.

They haven't hit conference play yet...they can still dominate the piss out of the Big Waste, even though, as I guess you didn't hear, they lost to Pitt last year :slappy:

Yeah, it's all WVU's fault. I don't think I've heard you mention that, ever.

The word "domintaion" doesn't really bring to mind a team that loses to Pitt. Just sayin'. (There, someone on this board finally mentioned it)

I'm just givin' you a hard time.

With the running game UConn has and the run defense WVU has, I wouldn't bet on WVU.

I'm done betting on WVU period.

How the living fuck do you go into a 2 minute drill at the end of a game with 2 time outs and fail to use them both at some point? Who the fuck does that?

FOURTH DOWN!

That only explains why he didn't call a TO after the third down play ended with about 20 seconds left. It doesn't explain why he didn't call any TOs earlier, in order to have enough time to do something in case they got a first down.

see BB73 below, I don't feel like re-typing it all. You can't tell me the last 2 minutes of that game was an example of good clock management.
