Its different.
In the South they are as prominent as fire hydrants. You can't go 5 miles without finding one.

Where I live in Cincy, I'm a 25 minute drive from one in any direction. The closest one might be at the damn airport :shake:

There aren't a lot of them up here but Chick-Fil-A is around now. I've had their chicken a couple times. It's not bad for fast food. I guess the older I get the less I care for fast food, in general.

I do, however, make the occasional visit to my old hometown for cheddar-chili dogs and cheddar-chili fries at the ol' Hot Dog Shoppe. I used to practically live on that stuff in high school. Brought my roommate from Reynoldsburg back there once, took him there, and every time I went home after that I had to stop and bring him some fries back to OSU. Three hours later he crushed them, every time. :lol:

Didn't you say you lived in the northern suburbs? If so, there's one on Mason-Montgomery right near Field's Ertel in Deerfield Township.

Wendy's lost me when they started putting ranch dressing on their chicken club. Don't add anything to the sandwiches on your menu that your employees aren't smart enough to leave off when asked.

I also find the notion that Wendy's is competing with Five Guys, Smashburger, Chipotle, etc. to be hilarious. One is fast food and the others are food, fast. They are entirely different species.

I live plenty close to a Chick-Fil-A here at the other end of Cincy (about a 5-7 minute drive depending on traffic lights), and that's who Wendy's is losing to when it comes to my fast food dollars. The problem I have with Chick-Fil-A though is that whenever it springs to mind, it's always on a damn Sunday. C'mon, heathens gotta eat too!
