And OHSAA put out a poster showing a "heads up" tackle and required it to be in every HSs team locker room. Don't know if every coach followed through with it, but it pre-dated the targeting rules for college and HS.

"See what you hit" was the mantra when I played, and I'm talking late 70s and early 80s. It was really about not missing tackles, because no one in their right mind was thinking of using that plastic shell with elastic bands (for fitting purposes) as a battering ram.

Helmets are much more protective now, but it's given some players a false sense of security. Using your head to hit the opponent is a great way to injure yourself.

They make it they can play for a last FG attempt
they miss, the Mormons are set up for the same

Jump ball pass interference prayer

… is answered

first down pirates

2 seconds left
33 yard field goal to win

Down go the Mormons, with the taste of their own medicine in their mouths

Both calls were the right call
Throwing up prayers for a PI call just seems a cheap way to convert to me
