Week 9 Games Discussion

It’s 1 game but Weigman looks a lot more competent than those other 2 bozos A&M was rolling out all year. Jimbo was dead set on not burning his red shirt though!

Not sure why coaches are so concerned about red shirts with high QB recruits today. If he lives up to the billing he's not going to stick around 4 years, anyway.

You’re assuming and so is scum… that he doesn’t get nicked up or injured… he’s had, since they started B1G play, 30/29/25/28 + he’s already at 26 tonight…. that basically last years total number of carriers… we’ll see if he holds up

I'll give respect where it's due. He's been an old school workhorse and hasn't shown any physical wear and tear. Plus, to my knowledge, he hasn't been like Reno Jesus or Spin Pass Jesus or that other loudmouthed motherfucker and has just kept his mouth shut and done his job. He deserves respect, and deserves to be shut the fuck down in a month.

However as a counter argument we dont know the NIL deals signed and promises made to existing QBs and their kin that could impacted the decisions

This is why if a college coach gets offered an NFL job, he almost always takes it. Don't have to pretend some recruit's mom makes the best apple pie you've ever had, either.
