I didn't expect a lot of points from Sparty, but I did think their defense would put up a better fight.

Yep. I was expecting this to be a competitive game. Boy, was I wrong.

MSU’s defense reminds me of Ohio State last year/early this year… man up on the perimeter, no pass rush, constantly get smoked across the middle.

I’m very thankful we mix it up and do things to confuse the QB now, because that shit doesn’t cut it against anyone, even the most one-dimensional of offenses.

Edit: I came in cold with this post, it’s funny that everyone else is also talking about this.

Yea and after that game Oregon proceeded to lose to Stanford and squeak by powerhouses Cal and UCLA. We won't know if our D has gotten better until they play scum. So far they have looked better against bottom feeders.
