How ya like them apples junior?

Edit: Yup his IP had to go...I don't feel like banning new handles all afternoon.

Thanks to the folks who reported these idiotic posts.

Well if you has read previous posts I made you would know that I did not think ND should have been rated higher than OSU. But if OSU just played USC the exact same way ND did you all would have been going crazy if OSU had been moved down in the polls.

nice post I agree we would be going crazy.

I still think PSU is the best one loss team. There only loss was in one of the toughest places to play and in all reality the last play should of never happened.

The "X Degrees of Opponents" doesn't mean squat.

Bingo. I posed this question to my wife:

Notre Dame beat Michigan, Michigan beat Michigan State, and Michigan State beat Notre Dame. Who should be ranked higher? She looked at me, and absolutely deadpan, replied, "USC." I just about fell off of the couch. She's actually been listening to my rants about college football. Who knew?

I don't know if I agree with this. We played UT just as tough as ND played USC, and I think right now it's a toss-up for who would win in a game between USC and UT. Yet we still moved down in the polls after our loss to UT, and I don't think anyone here was "going crazy."

You sound like a penn state fan.
1) michigan isn't a tough place to play. even the announcers pointed out that the design of the stadium doesn't hold any noise in.
2) how should the last play not have happened? first of all, the coaches called for the timeout with 30 seconds left. thats what they put back on the clock after the TO. secondly, you're telling me that a second here or there wasn't run off during the course of a game?

I think the clock has struck midnight for PSU. DWill breaking his arm was a big blow to their offense, which wasn't that good to begin with. And the schedule will catch up to them.

SEC teams in front of us, one will lose another game and drop.

USC is getting physically beat up in the secondary! In the PAC Ten that will catch up to you! Maybe UCLA takes them down.

We finish the season in the Top Ten and make a BCS Bowl game!

And the Domers still have to play Tennessee! :tongue2:

loose 2 games and with it you loose all rights to complain about where your ranked. BEST case scenario for us is a big 10 title and even that requires help. there are 2 teams in the big 10 that control their own destiney, we're not one of them. while i feel the media is anti tOSU as much as anyone, i think they are being very generous in where we are placed in the rankings considering there is a significant chance we won't even win our conference. worst still, we have no control over the situation.

you also have to look at the situation. we didn't drop significantly in the polls after loosing to texas. i can't imagine why nd would drop at all after loosing to sc. people ask who nd has beaten... well, who have we beat exactly? msu, miami (oh), sdsu, iowa...? wowzers... msu is the best team on that list and that was another win in spite of the offense not because of it. if the d isn't godlike we loose, period. our only real tests this season we have put up L's. *shrug* im happy we're in the top 15 to be honest. if our d wasn't the best in the nation... we might not be ranked right now at all.
