Week 7 Games Discussion

Fuck Google and Fuck Roku and Fuck their little pissing match. Roku shut me out of Youtube TV a couple of days ago, but I could still access it by going through the regular youtube app. Now, when I try to load youtube, it tells me that I don't have enough space, and I need to remove a channel. I removed 7 channels that I never watch, but I still get the same message. Clearly, this is an escalation of their little battle.

So, I'm finally watching games now, after signing up for another streaming service.

That's what I did, but no Turner Classic Movies. OTOH, their 4K stream seems infinitely better than youtubetv.

Same boat. In my case I was Hulu Live but their software for Apple TV boxes sucks donkey balls. Streams would constantly buffer, drop, or the app would crash outright; and this was on both my Apple TV boxes which are two different gens, one was only six months old. I signed up for the 7 day free trial of FuboTV for the Minnesota game and haven't looked back. Rock solid streams, three & four picture multiview, 4k, massive sports package including NFL RedZone. I'm happy.

Hopefully they figure out a Turner contract otherwise watching the NCAA Tournament will be an issue, but they've got six months to solve that problem. I'm happy to trade TBS for AMC though, which Hulu didn't have. Besides, most of Turner's syndicated shows and film library are also in the HBOMax app, so this eliminates paying for the same content twice.
