Week 6 Games Discussion

Eh it’ll all boil down to how our offense does. I think our running game should really lean on that defense.

That said I’m a bit concerned stopping their offense. Their OL is getting after it, their backs run hard, and they have a mobile QB.

Going to need to play aggressive next week. No more 10 yard cushions and no more 6 man boxes. Man them up, drop a guy in the box and keep the pedal down.

I haven't seen Gabriel complete a pass more than 10 yards downfield yet. If they are going to try and dink and dunk us they'll get yardage but make mistakes and our Offense wont crumble like Sparty

If Gabriel throws two picks against the Silver Bullets he is going to have a long night.

Oregon scored 14 points in the first 29:50 of the first half against a mediocre defense...I think we should fare significantly better.
They should’ve had 35 at the half. They’ve absolutely throttled MSU all game. I don’t think Sparty has forced a punt or even a negative play all game. I think Oregon hasn’t even given up 100 yards either and has 3-4 sacks already?

They’re handling Sparty like I hoped we would’ve defensively. They’re going to be a tough ass out.

I have to say this schedule this year is no joke man. Oregon and Penn State on the road, Iowa/TCUN at home, and underrated games versus Corn and Indiana too.

That's fine at times, but Gabriel is mobile enough to make it difficult to run man only. The defense isn't going to shut down Oregon, but if it can bait Gabriel and find their spots to blitz it'll go a long way to getting a win.

You're talking about a beaten up Sparty team who had a late game on Saturday night and then had to travel across the country and play on a Friday night.....don't discount that.
