supposedly if the refs feel that the D isn’t making a legit effort to get out there the D can be flagged for Delay

Another thing I'm still getting used to - football players in short pants.

I know they've gotten rid of a lot of the low hitting, but playing football with no knee protection still feels strange to me. It looks weird, too.

that would be asking a lot for the committee to watch anything other than what they are required to watch which is sometime in the next couple of weeks….
