Week 5 Games Discussion

I'm guessing you've never spent much time in Alabama...
Haha I mean gauging by my time here in MN...

Going from MN to OH isn't far off from going OH to AL.

I love Ohio but it's no where near as nice as MN or VA where I've lived. That said I wouldn't trade my Buckeye Fandom so I could be associated with a better state.

I guarantee you most in AL wouldn't trade their championships for marginally better surroundings either.

depends on where you are in those states. I’d rather live in certain parts of Ohio than fucking Barstow California

Going from MN to OH isn’t in the same zip code as going from OH to AL

Some of us enjoy college football. Others have their entire week ruined if their favorite team loses. That second sentence describes the residents of Alabama.

I wouldn't trade places with those pathetic souls for a dozen more titles.

Well, there's a exceptions to that whole "entire week being ruined" statement:

Sparty 2015
Clemson 2016 Semi final
Iowa 2017
Purdue 2018

That OU flag plant didn't feel so great either until Wed or Thu.

Just sayin'.

It's one of the poorest, and poorly educated, states in the country. Most have shitty jobs, if they have one at all - "college" is just a place that plays football.

It's all they know, so of course they wouldn't trade Bama's titles for a better life. Alabama football IS their life. Am I supposed to envy that existence?

No thanks.
