Week 5 Games Discussion

No they're not wrong...it's that kind of insanity that's creates a 10+ mil a year budget for their head coach and countless more for their program in general.

They're just on another level and just when people think someone will catch them (many here and myself included with Ole Miss) they end up showing up and embarrassing them.

What's amazing is they don't have a Sparty 2013/2015, Pedo 2016, Iowa 2017 or a Purdue 2018. They just show up and kick ass and walk into the playoffs.

Maybe someone gets them in the championship game if they're special but damn near no one does before that. It's honest fuccing gross and that includes the bull shit biweekly news conference by Saban going ape shit about his program sucking and not having earned anything etc etc etc

But mad Saban is definitely one of the best things about my week. Get the occasional sideline Pissed Saban? I call that a win.

Their only chance at winning championships is to join the ACC.
Even if they made it this year, they'd just run into somebody else' buzzsaw. That's been obvious for weeks.

Nah, the confusion is coming from the fact that only Bama is going to get in with 2 losses. Anyone else is auto-eliminated.
PSU was never a consideration. If we don't beat OU that year, they're in. We won that spot by playing OU, beating OU, and only losing 1 other game.
PSU could have won that spot when they beat us -- except they dropped 2 games and were disqualified, B1G Champion or not.

And for these same reasons, Oregon needs to eliminate themselves with a 2nd loss.

I was just clarifying the part that said it was because OU won their championship. I don't even remember what was said anymore. It seems we all know what happened tho.

Why are the East coast teams playing so late recently? Oregon and Stanford played really early than in previous years.

Late games are reserved for the PAC12 (aka the ones no one really cares about).
Ever been to Alabama? It's fucking rooooouuugggghhhh, man. I'd be trying to find something to latch onto to get away from the misery, too. I've spent approximately two years of my life in Biloxi and they may as well dissolve the border between Mississippi and Alabama. Same exact state and it is FUCKED UP down there.

Would you trade spots for another 4 championships?

Never in a million years, because I'm not this loser asshole whose entire existence depends on college football.
