Week 5 Games Discussion

Not necessarily, and I think they're capable of it.

If we assume Bama, Georgia, OU, 1-loss Oregon, 1-loss Ohio State, undefeated Cinci who beat ND, and ACC out... it gets interesting.
If I had to guess, Oregon gets that one. They have the head-to-head, dodgy officiating in OT loss isn't hard to overlook, CFP has to throw PAC a bone at some point. We already know they'll put SEC also-ran in over 1-loss PAC and B1G champs - even if they get absolutely plowed in CCG or don't even make it to the CCG, so that's off the table. The SEC is guaranteed 2 when there aren't undefeated champs.

But yea, I think Oregon definitely has it in them to drop another.

In 2016 we got in over a 2 loss PED team which beat us... so for sure it doesn't have to make sense.
