Right before they lose everything in an epic battle?

B1G undefeated: Buckeyes, Ped State, turtles, Rutgers, Indiana, Goldie, & scUM; and Oh yes, UCLA & USC too.......

The SEC only has 6 teams: Alabama, Georgia, KY Jelly Cats, Hogs, Rebels, and Tennecheat. Well, 7 counting OU.

I’d like to think Wazzou hosting Oregon could be interesting as it’s a nice bridge to our kick off but they will probably get waxed.

Which would be interesting, as Wazzou beat the Badgers.

Not that we could draw anything from transitive analysis. The Badgers often play poorly in at least one early game. IIRC they once lost to a MAC opponent and went on to win the B1G

I'm leaning toward it was just Wisconsin having their annual flop game.

Wazzou was outgained 401-253 by Wisconsin, Bucky also had a crap ton of penalties and a couple of missed FGs. They basically did all they could to lose that game.

Sounds about right

I was mistaken about them losing to a MAC opponent and then winning the B1G. That was 1995 Northwestern, who lost to Miami of Ohio. '96 Northwestern lost to Wake Forest and went on to win a share of the conference crown. They also got a share of a watered-down conference title in 2000 after an out of conference loss, though that was slightly more respectable (TCU). The one thing that all of those teams had in common, apart from a non-conference loss and a Big Ten championship, is that none of them played Ohio State.

In fact, the 1995 Northwestern team is the only team that Pat Fitzgerald has ever been associated with that won the Big Ten in a year in which they played a team from Ohio. Too bad it was Fredo. Too bad they lost.

Too bad the Beavers vs. SC is on the Pac network (that seemingly only exists in the mind of the ex Pac commisioner). Very possibly the last time they play (not on the schedule the next two years) and there have been some classic upsets.
SoPlayer. Invest the measley couple bucks in it and shitcan everything else while it still works.

I recall one of the Ron Dayne teams getting waxed by UC here at Nippert and then going on to have a good season.
