A few years ago Campbell was a hot commodity, but no thanks.

But why was he a hot commodity? WTF has he ever won? His teams are wildly inconsistent and he’s as bad as Day, IMO, when it comes to winning a big game.

Ewers actually has struggled deep too but dude just take the shot. His WR is making plays right now and you can’t tell me Smith and Tate can’t go to make a play for Howard.

Just take a few shots when we can afford to (2nd and short preferably).

Conference championship games mean a lot in terms of revenue. But to those teams who stand to gain nothing from the win in terms of playoff seeding and would only risk player injury?

I see no reason why those teams would bother playing their starters.

It’s Iowa State and his teams are always pretty rugged. He needs to move on though to a program that can get some recruits. Maybe a school like Florida State level.

I completely understand that POV, but boy that says a lot about how far the sport has fallen where we consider winning your conference an unnecessary risk. I would kill to see us win the B1G again

they could just award the conference championship based on a team’s conference record… just like the old mythical national champion.
