Cause his arm was going forward apparently mean it doesn't matter if the ball is clearly knocked out of a hand vs it slipped or was thrown.

I'm not sure I agree but I have no idea what the rule says there
A ball knocked backwards before it ever left the hand is a fumble, not a forward pass. The ball didn’t leave his hand due to forward momentum, it went backwards cause it was knocked cleanly backwards.

Terrible reversal on that call.

See but the rule might be written stupidly in that as long as his arm is going forward it cannot be a fumble.

I don't know the rule to know if there is some tuck rule bullshit in there
