Ohio State held UM to 10 yards on 11 rushes in the entire first half and was winning The Game at halftime. Just saying.

They laid an egg in the second half, but even then it was a one possession game with 7mins to go in the 4th before all hell broke loose. Even that took 25 yards in penalties which ended up bringing them just short on 3rd down after picking up around 31 of the 35 yards needed.

I hear what you’re saying, but people blew that game way out of proportion due to the meltdown late in the 4th and that’s all they seem to recall.

Sorry, they blew that game much earlier when they had chances to score in the first half and wasted them. Then they followed that with bad defense late in the half.

Can’t argue that. Unfortunately they left a lot of points on the field in the first half and couldn’t get anything done in the second. I still believe the blowout could have gone the other way if they stick the fork in early on when the opportunities were there.

Lack of execution was a tough pill to swallow…

I respect your opinion. But I disagree. I can see your point.

Personally though, I don't believe a Bowl game, especially if it's the Rose Bowl or any NY6 Bowl is worthless. Especially for Ohio State.

Doesn't the Rose Bowl have to take the highest ranked teams if the champ isn't available.
