Shitty thing for everyone involved is ND sitting there with 1 loss ahead of a ton of teams having played no one.

Losing to UC should count as 2 losses

A Baylor win means they jump us, we are not getting in no matter what.

I doubt we get in no matter what, but conference titles don't necessarily get it done for you with two losses. You might even get left out for a one-loss team you beat H2H. Assuming two-loss Baylor automatically jumps two-loss Ohio State is overlooking the committee's history, not to mention other factors.

Big XII teams not named "Oklahoma" have not been treated favorably by the committee to this point of its existence. If the committee ends up with a two loss team getting a bid, it's more likely to be Alabama or Ohio State (for reasons that shouldn't need to be explained).
