I've favored an eight team playoff but absolutely no more than that. I don't trust a committee to get the four teams right, especially when at least two teams are judged differently than everyone else. Eight teams wouldn't rid of us of that bias, but the teams they screw would still get a shot.

It's only a matter of time before it expands, just like the playoffs of every professional sport. I suspect they'll go beyond 8 teams, and we all know why.

Georgia could've lost 99-0 today and they'd still get in with 12-1 and SEC.

Honestly when you put it like that, it's pretty spot on.

Im just pissed we'll be playing an opponent who's not on our level. At least with Oregon we'd get to avenge our loss....

The only bright side is Cincy will be in the playoffs. Actually changing things.

It's really not that hard to understand. UGa's only loss is to the #3 team and OSU's loss to #5 TTUN was our second loss of the season.
