Week 13 Games Discussion

We joke, but Sankey will be all over espn and anyone else who'll have him arguing, whining, threatening and bullying to get five teams in. It just means more.

Bama and Ole Miss both now have 2 losses to unranked teams. I could maybe see lobbying for them to get the 12th spot if they had 3 losses to like Texas Tennessee and UGA. But anyone arguing for them this year is just going to look like a obvious jackass SEC honk.

Ohio State getting blown out by Purdue and Iowa effectively took them out of the old playoff. Bama getting blown out by a Oklahoma team with no offense for their THIRD loss should definitely have them out of the conversation but it hilariously won’t.

Duke QB Maalik Murphy Had NSFW Reaction to His 86-Yard TD Pass on Game's First Play

It was quite the interesting celebration to have in your home stadium.

The Duke Blue Devils secured an important conference win over Virginia Tech on Saturday, and quarterback Maalik Murphy set the tone for the rest of the matchup right off the bat on the team's first offensive play.

After the Hokies punted the ball away on the first drive of the game, the Blue Devils only needed one play to put points on the board. Murphy completed a pass to Duke receiver Eli Pancol, who then ran the ball to the end zone for an 86-yard TD. It was quite the impressive way to start the game, and Murphy wanted to silence any haters.

Murphy turned to the crowd after the touchdown play and threw up two middle fingers. It was an interesting NSFW celebration to have in your home stadium.

Cal Equipment Manager Tackles Fan Trying to Steal a Helmet After Stanford Game

Cal beat Stanford 24-21 in the 131st edition of The Big Game on Saturday. It was a classic ACC battle between the longtime rivals as the Golden Bears came back to win despite trailing by 14 with less than a minute left in the third quarter.

Cal fans were so happy to beat Stanford that they stormed the field to celebrate proving that records don't matter in rivalry games and there's no shame in beating a three-win team days before Thanksgiving.

Thanks to the fans going onto the field, we were treated to one extra highlight this weekend as someone snuck onto the Cal sideline and tried to run off with a helmet. Unfortunately for that fan, one of the equipment managers was paying attention and gave chase.

Based on the original post of the video from Cal's junior running back Jaydn Ott on Instagram Stories, the person who ran down the fan was named "Trev," which probably means it was assistant equipment manager Trevor Skogerboe who is a former high school football player and wrestler. And it certainly looks like a wrestling takedown on that tackle.

Just incredible pursuit. The fan fumbled the helmet and it was recovered by someone else from the Cal support staff. Let this serve as a warning to other fans to never try something like this in the future. You might be messing with the wrong equipment manager.
