Week 13 Games Discussion

Three other game lines have jumped out at me this week so far. Spots where the better and higher ranked team was either a dog or seemed way too small of a fav:

Ole Miss closed as a +2.5 dog on the road despite being ranked #9, having a 9-2 record and Miss State being 7-4

SDSU was a 3 point dog at home. Same kind of thing. SDSU was 9-1 and ranked 19. Boise was 7-3 and unranked.

Iowa closed as a +1 dog/pick 'em on the road to Corn.

All three won straight up.

Then I see OSU only -7.5 to 8.5

Maybe they are just fucking with people this week? Whatever, hopefully the trend continues.

Juggalos play some really sound, fundamental football. It's just a little too reminiscent of Tresselball to me, and I question if it could work at the nationally elite level today, about which we're about to find out.

Agree. Elite CFB today is about recruiting talent and then scheming to release the hounds. Saban recognized that and changed his entire offensive mentality to adapt (another reason why he's probably GOAT). I almost think Fickell is more suited to the NFL than he is to elite level CFB.

Chinks in the UC armor are glaring. Although, it seems their chinks are about the same as everyone elses. It's about impossible to stop a good passing game
