I'm still really struggling with all of this realignment. And many of the other enormous changes. I'm old and set in my ways. I don't like change. You wouldn't be out of line calling me a "fuddy duddy." I own it. I just cannot get into CFB as deeply as I once did. Still want to see tCun raw dogged by the ncaa, though.

How much does anyone want to bet that when the rankings for Week 1 come out LSU will still be raked ahead of USC?

Yeah, but even the playoff rankings are skewed. Remember the very first rankings? All four of the top spots were from the deep southeast (three SEC teams plus Florida State):
1. Mississippi State
2. Florida State
3. Auburn
4. Ole Miss
